Subtraction Formula in Google Sheets
Google Sheets has no SUBTRACT function — you subtract with the minus sign, or with MINUS for two values.
=A2-B2

How it works
Subtraction in Sheets is just the - operator inside a formula that starts with =. For exactly two values you can also use MINUS(a, b). To subtract several cells, chain minuses or subtract a SUM.
Variations
MINUS function (two values)
=MINUS(A2, B2)
Identical result to A2-B2.
Subtract several cells from one
=A2-B2-C2-D2
Or =A2-SUM(B2:D2).
Subtract a percentage
=A2*(1-15%)
Takes 15% off A2.
Subtract across a whole column (running result)
=ARRAYFORMULA(A2:A100-B2:B100)
